1. Who we are
This website, www.qncept.com and its Arabic version at www.qncept.com/ar/, is operated by Qncept, a software development company based in Cairo, Egypt ("Qncept", "we", "us").
Qncept is the controller of the personal data described in this policy and processes it in accordance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations. For any privacy question, contact us at info@qncept.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data collected when you visit this website, fill in a contact or project request form, or communicate with us by email, phone or WhatsApp about our services.
It does not cover data we process on behalf of our clients inside the software we build for them. That processing is governed by the contract and data processing terms agreed with each client.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Your full name, email address, phone number and country code.
- Your company name, project details, budget range, preferred meeting method and how you heard about us.
- Anything you choose to share when you email, call or message us.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address and browser user agent when you submit a form.
- A hashed device identifier stored in the
qncept-fpcookie, used only to detect spam and limit repeated submissions. It is not used for advertising. - Standard server logs (date, time, requested page, IP address) kept for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics and advertising data (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads collect information such as pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location (country or city), the website or ad that referred you, and whether you submitted a form.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as health, religious or financial information. Please do not include it in our forms.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers, including Google, store or process data outside Egypt, for example in the European Union or the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Egypt, we do so in line with Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, relying on providers that apply recognised security standards and contractual data protection commitments, and obtaining any licence or permit required from the Personal Data Protection Center.
8. How long we keep data
- Enquiries and form submissions: up to 24 months after our last communication, unless you become a client.
- Client records: for the duration of the contract and afterwards for as long as required by Egyptian commercial and tax law.
- Security data (IP address, user agent, device identifier, server logs): up to 12 months.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer identify you.
9. How we protect your data
We use HTTPS encryption across the website, restrict access to personal data to authorised team members, protect the admin area with authentication and role-based permissions, apply rate limiting and spam filtering to forms, and keep our systems updated. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under Law No. 151 of 2020 you have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
- correct, update or complete inaccurate data;
- request deletion of your data or restriction of its processing;
- object to processing and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- be informed of any personal data breach affecting you.
To exercise these rights, email info@qncept.com. We may ask you to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.
If you are located in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the European Union or another country with its own data protection law, you may have similar rights under that law and we will honour them.
11. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other websites
Our website links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook and WhatsApp. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to read.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, the website or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
